Hello brothers.
First of all I want to thank you for being here,
Always supporting me on my mission to celebrate masculinity and reaffirm our identity.
Secondly, I also think that YOU should thank yourselves,
For taking another crucial step in your journey to become the best men you can possibly be.
If you’re here, you’re already ahead of 99% of men, and you should be proud of that.
The purpose of this channel is to face once a week a topic that has close relevance for us, our mission and our values.
Hope you enjoy this as much as me!
Without further ado, let’s get into today’s topic.
We all know that a man without discipline is like a fish without gills. But…
Have you ever imagined what YOUR life would look like if you FULLY embraced discipline?
You’d be the most productive you’ve ever been,
You’d be proud of yourself each and every day,
And your personal growth would be faster than you could ever imagine.
You’d NEVER go to bed thinking you could’ve done more,
And you’d never feel like a slave to your mind ever again.
Your family would see you as their rock, their mainstay,
The person they can always rely on no matter what.
And your enemies wouldn’t stand a chance against you.
They’d have to be fools to try and stand in your way.
I guess that’s a life you’d like to have, brothers.
So let me share with you the 8 steps I followed to become a more disciplined man.
-
- Don’t focus on goals
Winners and losers have the same goals.
But winners act differently. Actions > goals.
Focus on what you do day in and day out.
-
- Create a routine
Take your Google Calendar and craft your perfect day.
Then set it as your standard day.
You won’t always be perfect, but having your day already planned out makes it way easier to stick to the plan.
-
- Set SMART goals
Actions > goals, but you still should set goals to know where you’re going.
Make sure they’re SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bond).
-
- Eliminate distractions
Make it easier to stay disciplined by eliminating or hiding the temptations that get you off your path.
-
- Meditate to develop self control
Once you gain control over your mind, discipline becomes a no-brainer.
-
- Keep yourself accountable
You’re already on the right path. This is the purpose of our community.
-
- Track your progress
Often we get lost in the process and don’t realize how far we’ve come.
Track your progress to always remind yourself how powerful it is to show up everyday.
Well, that’s all for today, brothers. See you next week.
Stay strong.
